Camp Sierra Winter Sports

During the winter months, Camp Sierra is a friendly, winter wonderland with just enough snow for fun, yet only minutes away from the ski slopes and snow parks on roads kept clear by all season, modern snow removal equipment. Sierra Summit Ski Resort, overlooking scenic Huntington Lake, is less than 30 minutes above Camp Sierra on all weather highway 168. The well groomed slopes, five chair lifts and three surface tows offer fun for the entire family and all skiers regardless of ability levels. The Alpine style lodge is a welcome haven for food, refreshments and relaxation.

Five of Central California's best "sno-parks" are also only short distances away from Camp Sierra. The variety of terrain has many well groomed trails, with unique winter scenic views and fun areas. These sno-parks offer an exciting day of playing in the snow or cross country skiing, snowshoing and snowmobiling. And, always with the comfort of knowing Camp Sierra is only a short distance away. Skis and snowboards are available at Sierra Summit and Shaver Lake also includes snowplay equipment.
